To help reduce excessive exhaust movement that can lead to the occasional rattle or rubbing, COBB Tuning offer highly durable Urethane Exhaust Hangers which are an exact replacement for the factory units. The urethane mounts are much more rigid than the soft, factory rubber mounts and come in handy when your exhaust system occasionally taps the differential or sway bar during aggressive driving.

Cobb 3" WRX STI Cat Back Exhaust System

Cobb's new system is constructed entirely of high-quality T304 Stainless Steel, from the hangers to the flanges. The COBB WRX Cat Back Exhaust system replaces everything after the stock catalytic converter with smooth, 3" mandrel bent piping. The system is tastefully finished out with a specially designed, robotically welded Stainless Steel Muffler directing the exhaust gases out a double-walled 3.5" tip featuring an embossed COBB logo. The results are improved performance and a nice, sporty sound not obnoxious or buzzy. 100% Emissions Legal and Subaru Warranty Friendly.

Cobb 3" WRX STI Street Downpipe Catted

Significantly reduce turbo lag with Cobb's truly engineered downpipe. Designed for optimal performance and durability, the downpipe features full 304 Stainless Steel construction. Starting from the turbo, exhaust gasses enter the cast stainless steel bellmouth housing that utilizes internal shapes and features impossible to create with standard tubing. This design feature was chosen specifically to reduce turbo lag, improve low-end torque, and offer superior durability in high HP, high temperature uses. Another improvement realized is the reduction of exhaust noise entering the cabin common with the thin-walled tubing used in nearly all other downpipes on the market.
From the cast bellmouth section the exhaust gasses smoothly flow through 3" mandrel bent stainless steel piping into a state-of-the-art metallic substrate catalytic converter. These metal substrate cats are designed for optimal durability and flow so well, they pose virtually no HP reduction on most street cars. The high-flow catalytic converter is included in the STREET version. The RACE version does not include any catalytic converter at all.
This system replaces both the stock downpipe section and final catalytic converter section. They will mate up perfectly to the stock or any aftermarket cat-back system designed to attach to the factory donut style flex gasket. A bung necessary to use the second factory O2 sensor is included. In addition, an auxillary O2 sensor bung is located near the turbo in a position that's easy-to-reach from the engine compartment for wide-band O2 sensor use during tuning sessions. All flanges, hangers, O2 sensor bungs, casting and piping are constructed 100% from 304SS. TIG welding used exclusively

COBB Tuning Adjustable Rear Antiswaybar Endlinks for the 2008+ STI are threaded to easily remove all preload from the bar and provides consistent handling balance in right and left turns. The construction of these endlinks start with carbon steel bearing rod ends utilizing a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) self lubricating corrosion resistant coating. The CAD designed and CNC machined spindles are 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for a long lasting finish. Our endlinks were designed and assembled in-house for optimal strength, performance and durability. Adjustment is as easy as loosening the jamb nuts and turning the spindle to lengthen or shorten the endlink while installed on the car.
