Ample quantities of 8CM turbine housing are now in stock. To upgrade your turbo
to the more powerful 8CM housing simply select the 8cm housing option from the
pull down menu.
There is NO LONGER a $100 fee for the upgrade to 8CM housing.

The FP Green Model turbocharger is a direct fit flange compatible upgrade
turbocharger for the Subaru STi and WRX that delivers 400-450whp capability with
astounding spool up response and efficiency. The Green Model features a 49lb
minute compressor and huge TDO6H sized turbine wheel with our own BRAND NEW 2007
updated aero 11 blade turbine head that is unlike anything else available. It is
a water and oil cooled turbo that is supplied with the water and oil drain lines
already bolted in place. Early water line compatibility issues have been
eliminated.
The FPGreen 7cm ported exhaust housing (or optional higher peak flowing 8cm
housing) retains the stock Subaru flange patterns. An internal wastegate is
standard on the FPGreen with an adjustable 15psi high pressure actuator included
AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE and is capable of filling the Subaru motor with
over 30 psi of boost if called upon.
For pump gas applications we have added the option to select a larger 34mm
wastegate flapper valve port job. This larger flapper valve setup increases the
wastegate flow volume and allows boost to be set below 20psi dependably over the
entire RPM range. Do not select this option if you intend to run race gas and
boost pressure above 28psi because the increase flow bias to the wastegate will
exaggerate flapper blow open in the upper RPM range causing boost taper in some
cases, somewhat defeating the purpose of fitting the larger turbo in the first
place.
The FPGreen Model Turbocharger features a 2.4" compressor housing inlet by
default or an optional 3" cover can be selected for those running the large 3"
air inlet tubes such as the Perrin tube to reduce pressure drop in the intake
path of the turbocharger.
Those of you that are running 3" air inlet tubes on your turbochargers will
benefit from reduced lag and increased whp by reducing the PR the compressor
section must operate at to achieve a given boost pressure. The corresponding
reduction in turbine back pressure is the key to this improvement.
Like all Forced Performance Mitsubishi Race Turbos, the FPGreen is fitted
with the best quality thrust bearings made today. These upgrade steel bearings
have over twice the surface area as a stock thrust bearing and are matched with
oversize thrust collars for the most bullet resistant bearing stackup possible.
Additionally all our journal bearings are hand picked for size and coated with a
unique antifriction coating for long life. Forced Performance also carries
stainless steel high flow oil feed lines to complete your installation.
